Eligibility Requirements
- Have successfully completed a degree, diploma, or certificate program at an eligible post-secondary institution in Canada within the past three years.
Employment Offer:
- Have received a job offer from a British Columbia (B.C.) employer.
- The job offer must fall under NOC (National Occupational Classification) TEER categories 1, 2, or 3.
- Please note that management occupations (NOC TEER 0) are not eligible for this stream.
Occupational Qualification:
- Be qualified and eligible to work in your specific occupation within the province of British Columbia.
Language Proficiency:
- If your occupation is categorized under NOC TEER 2 or 3, you must meet the minimum language proficiency requirements.
Wage Offer:
- Ensure that the wage offered aligns with the B.C. wage rates of your occupation.
Financial Capability:
- Demonstrate your ability to financially support both yourself and your dependents.
Immigration Status:
- Possess or be eligible for legal immigration status within Canada.
To utilize the Express Entry BC option, you should also have an IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) Express Entry Profile Number and a Job Seeker Validation Code. Additionally, meeting the federal minimum language requirements is essential, as this confirms your eligibility for one of the federal economic immigration programs that fall under IRCC’s Express Entry system.
