The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) was launched the year of 2017. Owing to the program’s effectiveness, it was made permanent in 2022 and given the new name Atlantic Immigration Program ( AIP). For qualified foreign workers and international graduates from a Canadian university who want to live and work in one of Canada’s four Atlantic provinces, the Atlantic Immigration Program is a route to permanent residence. The program allows employers to hire skilled candidates for positions they cannot fill locally.
The federal government and the governments of the four Atlantic Provinces have been welcoming thousands of immigrants and their families to the Atlantic area of Eastern Canada through this initiative since the program was launched.
